Leasify expands in the UK together with KPMG – major success at the Lease Tools Fair

Leasify continues its international expansion and has recently participated in KPMG UK’s extensive Lease Tools Fair – an important step into the British market.

The collaboration between Leasify and KPMG dates back to 2021, when KPMG Switzerland began recommending Leasify to its clients and prospects within lease accounting. Since then, Leasify has successfully supported customers in both the Swiss and German markets with regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 16, Local GAAP, IPSAS 43 and US GAAP.

In 2024, KPMG Switzerland merged with KPMG UK. In connection with this, Leasify helped KPMG Switzerland modernise its internal IFRS 16 accounting, which had previously been managed in Excel. The outcome was highly successful and paved the way for closer collaboration with accounting specialists and auditors within KPMG UK during 2025.

In March 2026, Leasify was invited to participate in the KPMG UK Lease Tools Fair – a series of events where KPMG brought together clients and prospects to guide them through the new FRS 102 regulations. The regulatory change, which comes into effect in January 2026, affects approximately 3.4 million companies in the UK and aims to harmonise accounting practices with the EU and IFRS 16.

The event tour visited Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, London and Reading, attracting more than 400 companies. For Leasify, this was a unique opportunity to showcase its platform and services to an entirely new market.

The reception was very positive. Leasify’s platform – with its focus on user-friendliness, efficiency, cost-effectiveness and traceability, combined with a strong AI foundation – generated significant interest among participants.

“It was incredible to receive such a response to our services as we enter a completely new market. Leasify is a market leader in the Nordics and has strong partnerships with the Big Four and other international players in accounting and audit. To receive this level of interest in a market like the UK, which is 6–7 times larger than Sweden, feels fantastic,” says Daniel Wihlborg, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Leasify.

Following the event, Leasify is now working intensively on follow-ups from the many meetings and contacts established during the two weeks in England.

Several new initiatives and joint events with KPMG UK and KPMG Switzerland are already planned.

The future looks very exciting indeed.
