Could you tell us a little bit about Fridaskolorna?
– We are a charter school group in western Sweden with around 5,000 students and approximately 800 employees. Employee-owned and non-profit, we’ve been in operation for 30 years and were among the first to establish when the reform was introduced. We offer preschool, primary, and high school education, along with a development company that provides consulting services both to other educational organizations and internally, Kristoffer explains.
How long have you been using Leasify?
– We started using Leasify in November 2021, so it’s now been almost three years, he explains.
What was the main reason you chose Leasify? What challenges did you need to solve?
– When our organization grew and we faced increasingly complex requirements in consolidated reporting and Local GAAP, our auditor helped us by creating an Excel model. It worked for a while, but over time, we realized that this solution was no longer sufficient. The Excel model became difficult to manage, which led us to start looking for a better solution, he explains, adding:
– It was my colleague Birgitta, who has been our CFO for many years, who first discovered Leasify. She saw that the system had the potential to solve our issues. We scheduled a demo, and afterward, we felt that Leasify was the right choice for us.
Could you give an example of how Leasify has improved the efficiency of your accounting?
– – We use Leasify for financial statements and consolidated reporting. It has been instrumental in supplying the necessary data for our consolidated reports. Without this system support, we wouldn't have been able to manage effectively, and I believe there are very few systems on the market that are as specialized as Leasify.
How would you rate the customer support and service from Leasify?
– 100%. Theodor has been with us every step of the way and is incredibly knowledgeable. He feels almost like a part of the system. The customer support has been essential for us.
Do you have any thoughts or advice for potential new users of Leasify?
– It really depends on your starting point. For us, coming from Excel solutions, this was a significant step forward. Every company has its own way of managing straight-line amortization and VAT, so it’s important to have a clear plan when starting with a system, which Leasify helped us with.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
– There are many concepts to navigate, such as implicit interest and depreciation. That's why having a knowledgeable account manager is essential to maximizing the benefits of the system. While the system itself is powerful, it’s the quality of customer support that truly enhances the experience," Kristoffer concludes.
